How to estimate concrete
Concrete is ordered by the cubic yard. Multiply the length, width and thickness of the pour in feet, then divide by 27 (there are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard). Add 5-10% for waste, spillage and an uneven subgrade so you don't come up short mid-pour.
For a priced estimate, set your delivered ready-mix price per yard and your placing-and-finishing labor rate in Settings — CraftTools then totals materials plus labor into a client-ready quote. Residential slabs are usually 4 inches thick, driveways 4-6 inches, and footings are sized to local code and soil.
