How to estimate paint

Paint is estimated by coverage. Multiply the wall area by the number of coats, then divide by the paint's spread rate — about 350 sq ft per gallon on smooth interior walls, less on rough or porous surfaces. Round up to whole gallons.

Two coats is standard for an even, durable finish. Set your price per gallon and your production rate in Settings, and CraftTools totals paint and labor into a client-ready quote.
